Hemp Seed Biscuits

Crunchy, natural sweetness + plenty of plant protein in these Hemp Seed Biscuits. Made in 25 minutes or less, and includes a serve of our nutritious hemp seeds 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Rolled Oats
  • 1 cup Organic Wholemeal Flour
  • ½ cup Coconut Sugar
  • 2/3 cup Nuts (chopped) & Dried Fruit Mix
  • 1/3 cup Vitahemp Hemp Seeds
  • 125g Butter, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of Vitahemp hemp oil
  • 2 tbsp Raw Honey
  • ½ tsp Bi-carb Soda

Method

1. Preheat oven to 160C and line baking trays with baking paper.
2. Combine Oats, Wholemeal flour, Coconut Sugar, Hemp Seeds and Nuts mix in a bowl.
3. Place honey and 2 tbsp cold water in a saucepan over medium heat.
4. Stir for 2 minutes or until butter has melted. Stir in Bi Carb Soda.
5. Combine the butter mixture with dry ingredients.
6. Roll level tablespoons of mixture into balls. Place on tray, 5cm apart.
7. Flatten slightly and bake for 10-12 minutes or until light golden.
8. Stand on tray for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely
